Victory Life Christian Church Celebration and Dedication
Sunday 28th July, 2013 at 9.45am marked the calendar for the launch of “Victory Life Christian Church” formerly “New Horizons Church.”
The church and grounds were full of members, visitors and well-wishers with a service comprising of praise, welcome by Pastor Paul McCarthy, songs by the Youth Band and cultural items.
The K.I.D.S Church performed a Scripture Recital from 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 decreeing God’s Word of love and encouragement.
The renovations journey was given overview from inception, council approval to final painting and electrical installations with many acknowledgements of practical helps, gifts and tradespersons by Pastor Paul.
The Victory Life website was given a “live” orientation presentation; and a new resource “Your Victory Is In God’s Word,” was briefly explained.
Ps Don Baker and Rev Miles Witherford encouraged the church in their giving and in prayer and Judith Witherford gave this prophetic word from the Book of Haggai Chapter 2:5-7 (KJV) being:
“According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.”
“For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;”
“And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Ps. Minta Baker received this prophetic word also for the church this morning:
“The Lord has called an anointing on this church as an “end times” people. To see miracles and experience a greater release of His power to see people saved, healed and delivered!”
“The Lord has called you to be holy for He is holy (Lev.19:2.)”
“The Lord has called you to love one another as He loves you.”
“He has seen your perseverance in the faith and that you have honoured His Name and kept His Word.”
“He has set before you an open door and no-one can shut it!”
“Behold the Lord is coming quickly. Hold fast what you have that no one may take your crown.”
“He who overcomes I will write on Him My new name.”
The Faithful Church (Rev. 3:7-13 NKJV)
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, “These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.”
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.”
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.”
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Acts 7:33 (NKJV)
‘”Then the Lord said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”
Holy ground – being sacred, pure, blameless, consecrated, separated.
Godlikeness – being set-apart for God, reserved by God and His service.
A holy God called for a holy people. (Lev. 19:2)
Our gratitude and thanks extended for all who participated in the building renovations, prayers and the celebration / dedication on the day.
THANK YOU.
